Steve Jobs February 24, 1955 - October 05, 2011

Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs was an American entrepreneur and inventor. He was co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Jobs also previously served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney.

Working this afternoon on a iMac and answering texts on the i-phone, marveling once again at how Steve Jobs has changed our lives, and indeed, the planet....Saddened to see tonights news and grieving the loss of such a visionary..we have lost our generations version of Thomas Edison. Heres to the future shapers yet to come.

Interesting that most things Im reading are about Jobs the business man. How he changed the music, mobile phone and computing industries and what his death means to Apple. Theres very little about the man himself. My thoughts are with his wife who lost her husband and his children who lost their father.

There are only a few people in the world who have been able to change one aspect of the world as much as Steve Jobs did. Im sure that a lot of people heard about Steves passing on their Mac computer and used their iPhone to tell a friend who received the message via their iPad and then listened to some music last night on their iPod. Thats pretty impressive.
